You
likely do have a web server. IIS server is part
of most windows operating systems. You don't need
a commecial "Host". you can host yourself
on your PC, laptop or office server. |

I use dbQwikReport with mySQL |
Yes!
And MS SQL, and MS Access, and Oracle… |
| Will
the reports run on my Unix server? |
Yes,
You can generate your reports using PHP script which
is supported on most UNIX servers. |
| Why
do I need dbQwikReport "OnTime"? |
You
don't need OnTime if your want only real-time reports.
It is only for those people who need batch reporting. |
| How
many reports can I make using dbQwikReport? |
As
many as you like, there is no limit. |
| Do
I have to pay royalties or any other fees on the
generated reports? |
No.
You pay us only for dbQwikReport, that's it, nothing

do I need on my server display the real-time reports?

do I order ASP or PHP versions? |
You
don't need to specify a scripting language when
you order or ever! You have complete freedom to
generate in both ASP or PHP as you like. |

site has many members, I need to make reports that
display only the member's data. Members can't see
each other's records, can I do that using dbQwikReport? |
Yes.
Your members must sign on to identify themselves,
and you must select the option to "filter by
logged in user". They the reports will select
only records that contain the users data. |

I e-mail a report? |

but most browsers, support an "send page to
an Mail recipient" |

need to make a monthly report, It should not change
even if the database is updated after that. How
do I do this? |
In
this case you need Batch reporting, which "snap
shots" reports in static HTML. This requires
dbQwikReport OnTime Report Scheduler/Generator. |

are the limitations of the Trial Version? |
There
are two limitations: 1) it will stop running after
30 days. 2) You cannot place more than 5 database
fields on a report. |

want to put two sets of reports on the web for the
Sales Department and for Senior Management. Management
should see all reports, Sales can only see their
reports but not Management reports. Is that possible? |
Yes,
Use security levels. For instance assign all Sales
users level 5 and all Managers level 7. Set Managerial
reports to level 7 and Sales reports level 5. Now
managers can see all reports, but Sales cannot access
Mangerial reports. |

is version 1. So isn't it risky to invest in unproven
technology? |
dbQwikReport
may be new, but the technology and company is not.
In fact, the core technology of dbQwikReport is
that same as dbQwikSite, which has been in the field
for 4 years now and has over 8,000 registered users. |

about .NET? Why don't you support it? |
For
release 1 we thought it would be best to product
ASP that can run without the overhead of .NET. With
ASP reports can run on almost any windows PC and
commercial hosting is cheaper. |

I get a discount? |
We
offer Volume discounts starting at two licenses,
volume discounts are calculated automatically in
the order process. We also offer "bundles"
with our other software packages offering substancial
savings. |

I put "If/Then/Else" logic in my reports? |
